India’s creative energy is finding its way onto the world’s most iconic fashion stages, and leading that charge is Arjun Singh, the Sikh designer and entrepreneur behind Dubai-based luxury streetwear label Trillionaire

This September, Trillionaire will make its debut at Milan Fashion Week with a new collection titled “Formally Streetwear,” cementing Singh’s journey from Indian heritage to global recognition.

Arjun Singh, who proudly carries his Sikh identity onto every platform he steps on, represents a a new wave of South Asian designers who aren’t afraid to bring their cultural confidence to the luxury conversation. For him, fashion is not just about clothes — it’s about storytelling, community, and roots. “Being Sikh is about resilience, pride, and standing tall. I channel that same spirit into my designs,” he explains. “Trillionaire is about abundance, reinvention, and identity, and a big part of that identity is where I come from — my Indian roots.”

The label first caught global attention at New York Fashion Week 2024 with its bold collection “Trillionaire Trash,” which transformed waste materials into high-end luxury, challenging both sustainability and style norms. That debut was rebellious and provocative. Milan, however, is about evolution. With “Formally Streetwear,” Singh explores the meeting point between sharp tailoring and the raw, expressive language of streetwear — a crossover that feels both global and deeply personal.

Oversized blazers paired with relaxed joggers, crisp shirts accented with graffiti-like detailing, and luxe fabrics offset by utilitarian textures create a collection that mirrors today’s fast-moving world.

For Singh, it’s also a reflection of his own life — moving between tradition and modernity, faith and creativity, rootedness and ambition. “Growing up with Indian values and Sikh heritage while building in Dubai and showcasing in New York and Milan — that’s what gives Trillionaire its soul,” he says.

Trillionaire’s rise from New York to Milan in just a year reflects more than fashion success — it’s part of a larger story of Indian-origin talent stepping onto global stages with pride. For the Sikh community, Arjun’s presence at Milan Fashion Week is especially powerful: a turbaned designer taking streetwear to luxury runways, rewriting what representation looks like in fashion.

As Milan Fashion Week unfolds this September, “Formally Streetwear” will not just be a collection — it will be a celebration of heritage, resilience, and the fearless spirit of an Indian Sikh creative taking his story, and his community’s pride, to the heart of global fashion.
